Daily Devotional

Put it on your phone.

The Lighthouse Daily Devotional is free, with no ads and no account. You won’t find it in the App Store. You add it from your browser, and after that it opens from its own icon like any other app.

Do this before your first reading. On an iPhone, progress saved in Safari doesn’t move over to the Home Screen app.

iPhone or iPad
  1. Open the app in Safari: Open the app
  2. Tap the Share button . Don’t see it? Tap the three dots (•••) first, then Share.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen. If it isn’t listed, tap View More.
  4. If you see Open as Web App, leave it on. Tap Add.
  5. Open Lighthouse from your Home Screen, and use that icon from now on.
  6. Want a reminder each morning? Finish a reading, turn on reminders, and tap Allow. On an iPhone they only work from the Home Screen icon, and it needs iOS 16.4 or newer.
Android
  1. Open the app in Chrome: Open the app
  2. Tap Add to home screen on that page. If there’s no button, tap the menu (⋮), then Install app or Add to Home screen.
  3. Open Lighthouse from your home screen.
  4. Want a reminder each morning? Finish a reading, turn on reminders, and tap Allow.
Opened this from Facebook or Instagram?

Those apps open links in their own browser, which can’t add the app. Tap the three dots (•••), then Open in external browser or Open in Safari (Chrome on Android). Then follow the steps above.
